The world’s top ethical hackers are converging on Dubai for the Ambassador World Cup (AWC) – a high-stakes tournament hosted by HackerOne, where hackers from across the globe come together to uncover real vulnerabilities in real systems. Among them is a familiar face: Mateus, co-founder of Skuridat, proudly representing the Dutch national team in the finals.

The AWC is more than just a competition – it’s a celebration of the global security community. With over 800 participants and 40+ national teams, the event highlights the power of collaboration, diversity, and community-driven defense. The Dutch team secured its spot in the finals after a strong performance in the quarterfinals held in Prague, and now faces the world’s best in Dubai. These teams aren’t working in simulations — they’re discovering and responsibly disclosing actual security issues across live platforms from major organizations like Amazon, Mercado Libre, Superbet, and AS Watson, turning hacker expertise into real-world protection.
At Skuridat, we’re proud to be part of a community that believes security should be proactive, collaborative, and transparent. Events like the AWC reflect the same values that define our services: empowering defenders with visibility, knowledge, and direction. Seeing Mateus step onto the world stage isn’t just a proud moment – it’s a reflection of the principles we stand for in action.
We asked him what this opportunity means to him, and he shared:
“Being part of the Dutch team at AWC has been an incredible experience. It’s a chance to collaborate with great minds, challenge myself, and apply my skills to help uncover critical issues that might otherwise go unnoticed. What makes it even more special is the opportunity to connect with talented hackers from around the world, exchange ideas, and build relationships that go beyond the competition.”
From all of us at Skuridat, we’re proud to support the spirit of the AWC and the broader ethical hacking community. We’re cheering loudly for the Dutch team in Dubai — and grateful to be part of a movement that’s shaping a safer digital future for everyone.
