The world’s top ethical hackers converged on Dubai for the Ambassador World Cup, a tournament hosted by HackerOne where hackers from across the globe uncover real vulnerabilities in real systems. Among them was a familiar face: Mateus, co-founder of Skuridat, representing the Dutch national team in the finals.

What the AWC is

The AWC is more than a competition. It is a gathering of the global security community: over 800 participants and more than 40 national teams, built around collaboration and community-driven defense.

The Dutch team secured its place in the finals after a strong performance in the quarterfinals in Prague, and then faced the world’s best in Dubai.

These teams are not working in simulations. They discover and responsibly disclose actual security issues across live platforms from organizations including Amazon, Mercado Libre, Superbet and AS Watson, turning hacker expertise into real-world protection.

Why it matters to us

We are proud to be part of a community that believes security should be proactive, collaborative and transparent. Events like the AWC reflect the same values that define our services: giving defenders visibility, knowledge and direction.

We asked Mateus what the opportunity meant to him:

It is a chance to collaborate with great minds, challenge myself, and apply my skills to help uncover critical issues that might otherwise go unnoticed.

“What makes it even more special is the opportunity to connect with talented hackers from around the world, exchange ideas, and build relationships that go beyond the competition.”
